NaBloPoMo day 23...Thanksgiving is over, but National Blog Posting Month has one more week to go. I can almost smell the finish line as I carry on writing about things for which I am thankful every day of November!
I love when I have the opportunity to dress a little nicer than I do for my work as a daycare provider. Thanksgiving yesterday was one of those days where I took the time to look and smell a little nicer. Fragrance is important to me...it is like an article of clothing. I have my "everyday" fragrance for my everyday life, then I have my special fragrances for special occasions. Among my winter wardrobe of perfumes is my absolute favorite which I wore yesterday...

Well I have tried Opium but it is too strong on me. I have a friend who loves it and it smells great on her as well. My favorite is Indecence. I have been wearing it for years. It is by Givenchy andI do not buy french uless necessary but I have gotten SO many compliments that I keep on buying it. Alas, they ahve taken it off the market so I am going to have to find another fragrance that I love as much. I have been searching but with no luck. Looking for a scent with vanilla in it. I hope your dressup day was fun and family filled.

I got my first bottle nearly 20 years ago, and from my first sniff, I was hopelessly hooked! I am madly attracted to its warm, Oriental, spicy notes. It mixes beautifully with my body chemistry, and lingers on me for a long time. When I wear a fragrance that suits me so well, I feel more attractive, mentally sharper, happier...just special. It seems like there is a part of me that only awakens when I'm exposed to certain scents. The effect that a fragrance can have on me is amazing!
